SHAPED BY PAPER, TIME AND TOUCH.
One of the things that has fascinated me most since I began working with paper is its ability to transform. What starts as a simple, everyday material can become, through time, touch, and imagination, a piece filled with character, texture, and meaning.
This course is the result of years of exploration, experimenting with materials, forms, and processes to transform paper into sculptural objects with character and presence.
Perhaps you are curious about this medium too, but you are not sure where to begin. I want you to know that you do not need previous experience or special skills. All you need is a desire to create, explore, and trust the process.
In SHAPED BY PAPER, TIME AND TOUCH, I will share part of my creative process with you, step by step. You will learn how to build forms, create strong structures, work with layers, develop textured surfaces, and bring unique pieces to life that reflect your own vision.
More than learning techniques, I invite you to discover a new way of connecting with materials, time, and the work of your hands. Together, we will explore how a material as simple as paper can become sculptural vessels, decorative objects, and artworks with their own unique identity.

Hello, I'm Natalia.
I’m the artist behind @biscottohouse. I was born in Medellín, Colombia, and I am a visual artist and interior designer based in the U.S.
Over the years, I have developed a deep connection with materials, textures, and the way objects inhabit a space. This experience has profoundly influenced the way I create and understand art. After an early period of exhibitions in Colombia and the U.S, I stepped away from my artistic practice to focus on my career in interior design. Later, I returned to art through teaching, where I rediscovered the expressive potential of paper. What began as an exploration of materials gradually evolved into a sculptural practice centered on wall pieces, vessels, and objects designed to integrate naturally into contemporary interiors.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist exploring a new medium, this course will guide you through creating sculptural artwork from scratch.
